Downdraft Glaze Table

The glaze mixing table integrates storage for raw materials and down draft extraction through a perforated work surface. Air is pulled down by a 1200 CFM inline fan through a pre and HEPA filter. The flexible outlet duct is positioned on the lower shelf which can be connected to a workshop extraction system or left to exhaust to the exterior air. The unit is supplied on castors to allow portability around the studio.

Water Spray Booth

The water curtain spray booth captures material across four water surfaces, reducing exposure to silicate and oxide dust. The plumbing hardware, frame and wet surfaces are fabricated in stainless steel. A 150L tank houses the pump and a float valve inlet for easy filling. Water circulates up to the jet arms which sprays water down three internal walls. As glaze material settles, the clear water can be discharged and the waste glaze collected. The booth is supplied on castors and includes a stainless steel sump pump, 60W LED light and four power outlets.

Slip Casting Table

The slip casting table comprises an aluminum top surface with slotted grill and powder coated steel frame on castors. A formply under shelf supports the weight of slip buckets and moulds for storage. The slip chute reduces down below the table level to accept a sieve and a 20L bucket. This design was considered around small to medium production volumes where changes to the type of slips happen regularly,
